I wanna create 10 th lvl drow warrior class (must be martial). I am basically looking for suggestions on everything.

I think my character use two weapon (two short sword make good attack roll). Therefore i choose tempest fighter. In addition of this i think take multiclass from rogue (gain sneak attack +2d6 per encounter). I choose multiclass only from martial class (ranger, rogue or swordmage).

And i have too much money (40.000 gp) but i must buy one magical item.

My character's features; cunning, trickster, able to use sword, stealthy (become to as the member of Bregan D'aerthe :o).
I choose some simple power from martial powers book, evaluation to this :)

at will: dual strike, footwork hure

encounter: funnelin flurry

daily: tempest dance

My feats; two weapon fighting, weapon focus (short sword). My remaining feats four.

Thanks for now..

I just got Draconomicon: Metallic Dragons in the mail today and, while browsing through the "Hall of Fame," I was once more struck by how little damage monsters dole out. Take Bahamut, for example, who as a Level 36 Solo might be the highest level creature published so far. His attack damages are:

Bite: 3d12+10, plus two healing surges
Claw: 2d12+10
Disintegration Breath: 4d12+10, ongoing 15.
Etc.

Obviously those are no small potatoes, but for the most powerful dragon in the D&D canon? It just seems anticlimactic to say "The great platinum beast inhales deeply and lets out a blast of pure hellish fury, doing 36 HP of damage (which I believe is the average of 4d12+10). To an epic level character with HP in the 150-200 range that is barely a scratch.

Or take the Tarrasque, whose most powerful attacks (Rending Bite and Tail Slap) do 3d12+16, or whose standard Bite only does d12+16! "The mighty 50-ft tall abomination tears into your flesh and does 22 HP of damage". Oooh, I'm scared.

The campaign I've been running--and am now playing (and co-DMing)--has only made it up to 5th level, but I found this to be the case with many of the monsters they've been facing. It just isn't that scary to take 12 HP of damage when you have 50 from the final foe.

What am I missing?

It says: On your turn, you must engage the target you challenged or challenge a different target.

To me that means you can switch your challenge back and forth between creatures and you don't have to actual engage that target. That's very useful with abilities like divine sanction.

I can sanction the guy I'm currently challenging, and then move the mark to another person...maintaining the power on both of them.

Am I reading it right?

Also, in the case of Thunder Leap where I get to make multiple attack role, then move, then make other attack rolls, when are all target within 5 square moved? After the power is resolved? After the push on hit of others? After the first attack but before the jump?

So, last week we were fighting approximately 70k zombies arranged in three giant blocks of Zombie Mobs.

After spending 75% of the battle trying to push a cart off a bridge (I rolled 1,1,2,2,1 before I gave up, I wrote it down it was so annoying) I decided to do something fun by wagonjacking someoneones ride and trying to bowl through the Mob.

We just sorta winged the rules for it in that session, but afterwards I sat down to read the rules listed in the AV (of all strange places) for vehicular combat.

From what I read, the wagon can indeed run over an opponent, doing 1d10 damage per square of movement before it hit, but it takes the same damage in return (along with damaging me and any other passenger on the wagon). The two-horse team has a move of 4 pulling the wagon, so at top speed it would deal 4d10 to the unfortunate overrunee and wagon and half that amount to myself, my passengers (and possibly the horses, I cannot recall).

Does this seem like I have it all down to anyone who has actually done some vehicular homicide in their games?
